Why 5600Pa is the "Sweet Spot" for Modern Window Cleaning Robots

When choosing a window cleaning robot, many users ask: "Is higher suction always better?" With the launch of the updated Frewico W5600X, we have pushed the suction power to 5600Pa. In this tech-sharing post, we’ll dive into the science of why 5600Pa is the optimal suction for safety, cleaning efficiency, and glass protection.

1. The Physics of Vertical Stability

Cleaning a vertical glass surface requires overcoming gravity while maintaining horizontal movement. While 2500Pa (our previous standard) was safe for most indoor windows, the new 5600Pa suction provides a much higher "Safety Margin."

  • Higher Grip: It ensures the robot stays firmly attached even on humid days or when the microfiber pads are damp.

  • Wind Resistance: If you are cleaning the outside of a high-rise window, 5600Pa allows the robot to withstand stronger wind gusts without losing its seal.

2. Deeper Scrubbing, Not Just Suction

Suction power isn't just about not falling; it’s about downward pressure. At 5600Pa, the W5600X presses the microfiber cleaning pads more firmly against the glass. This increased friction allows the dual-spray system to "scrub" away dried bird droppings, dust, and rain spots that weaker robots would simply glide over.

3. Balancing Power with Surface Protection

Why not go to 8000Pa or higher? Because of Surface Tension and Motor Longevity.

  • Glass Stress: Too much suction can put unnecessary stress on thin or older glass panes. 5600Pa is carefully calibrated to provide maximum grip without risking glass fatigue.

  • Movement Fluidity: At 5600Pa, the robot’s wheels can still move smoothly without "stuttering" due to excessive friction, ensuring a streak-free finish.

4. Intelligent Adaptation for Frameless Glass

The W5600X uses its 5600Pa power in sync with advanced pressure sensors. When the robot approaches an edge, the system manages the air pressure instantly to maintain a seal while the robot pivots. This is critical for frameless balconies and shower doors where edge detection is a matter of safety.
