When Should You Not Use a Window Cleaning Robot?

Stop before placing it on unsuitable glass

A surface that looks like ordinary glass may have a finish or film that you need to identify before use.

Postpone cleaning in unsuitable weather or damp conditions
W5600X instructions call for calm, dry weather. Do not use the robot during rain, snow or thunderstorms, or treat suction as permission to work in windy conditions. Follow the manual's environmental limits rather than estimating a safe wind speed from an online demonstration.
Keep your hands, the adapter and electrical connections dry. The manual prohibits handling the appliance, plug or adapter with wet hands and warns against a damp adapter environment. If water has reached the appliance or an electrical component, stop use and seek authorized support. Do not reconnect it to check whether it still runs.
Damaged cables or an insecure tether mean the setup is not ready
Check accessible cables, plugs and the safety tether before use. Do not operate W5600X with a damaged adapter, cord, plug or receptacle. The manual requires a stable indoor tether attachment and inspection for damage or loose knots.

Poor attachment or a warning needs attention before cleaning
The W5600X manual says not to use the appliance if it does not attach firmly or shows visible damage. Follow its placement procedure; do not let the machine continue simply because it powers on.

Can I restart after a failed attachment?
Resolve the cause under the manual's instructions before another attempt. Visible damage, an unsuitable surface or an unresolved warning is a reason to stop and seek support. Repeated restarts do not establish that the setup is suitable.
Does a safety rope make an excluded surface acceptable?
No. Secure the rope as instructed, but keep the surface restrictions in place. The rope does not change the pane's condition or its compatibility with the robot.
Can I use these W5600X checks for W5600H?
